Although I doubt that the medical community would concur with your explanation, or even that it works, I endorse this notion. Years (20?) ago I (apparently) had a ruptured bursa in my elbow. Only thing that helped was lots of Ibuprofen. Then I started running. Within a week or two the bursa pain was gone, completely and permanently. I've been very intermittent with running ever since. Right now it's been at least a year, still no pain. I've done yoga for a couple years now, too, and recommend it highly, too.
