Hi Paul:

Years ago I had a girlfriend who was a student of Aikido. I always made
sure she was in a good mood before reaching out to hug her..

With limited time, I've been training in aikido for over 15 years, now up to
test for sandan (3rd degree blackbelt), and without doubt the oldest guy on
the mat of my dojo. Most everyone else is in their 20's or 30's and they
bounce when you throw them. When they throw me, I just look up and say I'll
be there again in a moment. Old saying, applies to everything, get thrown 7
times, get up 8. It's the most terrific exercise, and has pretty much
"cured" the arthritis I had in my knees back in 1994. Total flexibility.
Mind and body (I wish). It's why I continue to train.

I couldn't recommend it more to anyone, of any age.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

As we all know, Piano tuning is a mostly sedentary occupation...or "art" as
many of us would describe it! So I was wondering what you all do to help
keep those "spare tires" and "love handles" under control. Also, since we
just had Thanksgiving, and for those who DON'T currently have a regular
exercise routine, this would be a perfect time to start!

To kick things off, let me show you what I do to keep in shape; it's rather
unusual, but it has become an integral part of my daily life, and it's by
far the most efficient, and effective way I've ever found for getting and
staying fit. Oh, and the other big perk is, it's FUN! I've made more than
200 of these, but here's a couple of my most recent. You can see many more
by clicking my website link under my sig. Happy holidays!
