For those who - hate - to work on player pianos - on an old upright player, I just made $750 today - changing out several bad hoses, adjusting the loud & soft pedals, player p.m. (preventative maintenance - lubing, checking tracking, making sure every note plays, checked and adjusted tempo, etc), demashed 8 lead tubes and added electric suction pump. Previous service of pin block treatment, tuning - for a customer total of $1099.75 - so far. With an extra note stating that it really could use the works - new hammers, regulation, lost motion check, etc (typical service for an old upright piano).
