Usually the only apparatus on a older player to be removed
is the wind motor (on the right).

HAve the owner play a roll before you take it apart to make sure
it works.  The problem might be getting the vac hose reinstalled if
it is hardened.  Make sure the chain goes back in the correct orientation:
the 'fingers' on the links should be on the outside and point in the
direction of travel.

If you need to pull the action... that's a whole other can of worms.
Be careful not to bite off more than you can chew :-{
