While I like Jurgens quite a bit, it did require some chiseling. If Kawai makes one for their pianos, you might want to look at that - just because the hinges are similar - maybe the Kawai unit would require less wood chopping.
I installed my Jurgen unit on an 1895 Knabe grand.

Kawai has them, (I had to replace one), but they are for their pianos, I don't know if they would work on a YC. You might want to give them a call.

I called YC and the person I spoke to (I think it was John Chang) said they don't have them in stock, nor do they sell them. Any ideas on how I can get a slow drop fallboard hinge for a Young Chang G-150 would be greatly appreciated.
