[pianotech] Invoice forms - here's mine

I, too, encountered the same problem more recently (about 4 years ago).
Commercial/institutional customers will not pay any form that has the word
³Statement² on it.  Mine said ³Invoice & Statement of Services,² but was
rejected.  I ultimately learned that in accounting, Statement and Invoice
are different, and serve different purposes.  You ³invoice² for specific
services rendered, and you later provide a ³statement of account² to
summarize invoices and payments.

You may never run into this but when I started working for a store in Dallas
(early 1970s) they gave me ³statements² to fill out and give to customers.
I had one (commercial) client who would not pay it because it was company
policy not to pay statements, only invoices.  There is a difference.

Here are my worksheet and a statement for an appt tomorrow a.m.. I print it
at home before I leave, then fill in the blanks when I'm done. They're
printed from my home-grown (and not ready for prime time) system.
