And by the way, I just received a phone call from a colleague who wishes to remain anon with an idea for situations like this that actually has merit: Carry a bolt cutter, reasoning pad locks are cheap vs spending time located a key. And a further benefit of a bolt cutter is to buy a box of very long screws and then cut to size for key slips, key blocks, key stop rails, etc., rather than carrying multiple sizes of screws. It's never to late to learn from others, neh? Way to go anon.
