Ice makes wax brittle. A carpet cleaning guy told me how he uses an ice cube to remove wax from carpets. Hot water softens it up and so a hot cotton cloth might do the finishing touches. Plastic polish and a soft clean 100 percent cotton cloth would remove any minor scratches. Novus 2, Mirror Glaze 5, and Maguires 7 are some brand names.
