Hi Wim, If they're making that much, it's because it was agreed to in the contract by both labor AND management, and the management must have concluded that they could afford it. Which means that management and owners are making much more. Which also means that there's a lot of money in that business, more than there is in most (any?) piano-tuning related jobs. I certainly wouldn't want to be a member of a union that was effective at bargaining for a higher salary! Nope, $450K holds no attraction for me! With a nod and a wink, Zeno p.s. - Broadway shows were all open through the blizzard, even when the rest of the city came to a complete stop.
