That was my thought (change to single legs first) but was hoping for some alternative. This is in a college and they (students, yipes!) want to be able to move it around so the individual cups are too dangerous still, I think, especially with those small wheels and carpet in the room. But replacing legs on a piano that is otherwise in such crappy condition is hard to justify. I was hoping for some light bulb to go off but so far the rooms still dark. I could see a lot of splinters developing at the first threshold. IMMHO, 'twould be better to replace with single legs, then place on spider/truck.
