If I heard/recall correctly, when I was tuning for a big Baldwin dealer, Iturbi would be the draw for sales and he'd sign any that were bought while he was there...

I understand from a reliable source
that Jose Iturbi would refuse to
play any other piano than a Baldwin. I could see names on some of
the
fallboards in this YouTube clip, but couldn't make them out clearly. Anyone
??
