[pianotech] Best Coil Lifter?

I servied a Schimmel Grand a while back that had pins extremely close together at the bass/tenor break on the tenor side.  I had to replace several strings there, and couldn't get my coil lifter in there.  My slender screwdriver was a lifesaver (Schaff #3273).  Don't forget to protect the stretcher!

Thanks for all the great suggestions and pictures.  I love this trade!  …where ingenuity and improvisation play such an essential role, and where colleagues are so helpful and generous.

Thanks, Gary
