When supplying the string maker with a pattern, they will take into account
for stretching at pitch. To verify the pattern, supply speaking
length measurement as well.

To order a string with measurements alone, supply core and wrap
diameter, hitch pin\to winding and length of winding.

Subtract 1/8" (3mm) from h/p to winding and 1/4" (6mm) from the
winding length to account for stretch.

Arledge on the other hand requests the measurements: h/p to start of
winding & h/p to end of winding.
