[pianotech] broken strings - was Appraisal

A musical production from across the country was to appear at a local 
Performing Arts Center.   The pit orchestra pianist told the theater to expect 
broken strings.   He breaks them everywhere he goes. The piano was a Yamaha 
U-1 which had never broken a string in ten years.

He broke about 6 bass strings in 6 shows, despite having his own speaker 
monitor.   The piano has had no broken strings since.   With that as a 
background. . .maybe the church pianist. . .
