I have a church with a 20 year old Yamaha G3 that the keytops are generally turning dark with age. The keys are synthetic material and I've heard rumors of a material Yamaha tried that was supposed to feel the closest to ivory but it's porosity retained the micro particles from the sharps or other sources and became dark and were difficult to keep clean. I'd like to have a clear story to tell on this subject since I'm considering replacing the keytops with Vagias keytops (my usual). Did the sharp keycaps cause the problem and if so will they cause a similar problem with the new keytops? Lar -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
