[pianotech] Pin Block Drilling

Is it possible to drill a pinblock for one size larger pins without removing the plate.  If so what are the general procedures and or pitfalls to consider before undertaking.

>From the question you ask, I don't think l you want to "drill" the pin block. If the pins are loose, and you want to put in larger pins, you would want to ream the existing holes, and then repin the piano with bigger pins. (We just had a lengthy discussion on reaming if you want more information).
