Andrew,I'm not familiar with this action configuration, but I've been working to correct the touchweight on some unfortunate specimens in the console category.  I've found it very helpful to isolate the key/wippen system from the damper and hammer systems, getting the hammer return springs and the damper springs out ofthe equation.  At least on the pianos I am working on, if I use weights in the keys to produce an upweightof 15 grams with the damper pedal down and with the hammer lifted away so as to put no weight on the top of the jack, then manipulation (in my case, weakening) of the hammer return spring can yield an acceptable downweight.  What is your upweight right now when measured as I have described above?
