[pianotech] 60 Pianos in NYC

On the National News in Prime Time Tonight NBC did a spot on the pianos.  They really have been decorated by an "Arts Council" in the city.  They had a few people playing them and they sounded decent, so someone tuned them.

  I got a call from a local Long Island, NY piano tech/mover/seller looking for used pianos. I sold him 4 old Hamilton uprights I had gotten from a school. He told me he had gotten a call from someone looking for 35 pianos to be delivered to NYC.


  As far as who is tuning them, I have no idea.
