Wally, I was thinking of doing exactly that - putting fliers and/or my cards on the pianos. Also thought of your 2nd idea - fix up an old piano with my contact information on it and donate to a public place where people can play, ie. train depot, bus station, public park, etc. Joe ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Wally Scherer <afinetune at yahoo.com> To: pianotech at ptg.org Date: Mon, 21 Jun 2010 18:38:19 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [pianotech] 50 pianos - advertising Well if they put out old clunkers for the public to use, and they aren't tuned, wouldn't this be an opportunity for a tech to put up a card that says, "Don't let your piano sound like this - call xxx-xxxx". HOWEVER, according to this article, they will only be there for 2 weeks. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37824133/ns/us_news-life/ Hey, maybe we could all find public places to donate such old clunkers for advertisement purposes.
