They are usually in my experience very easy to remove. So if this one isn't,
then maybe it was glued in or something, or some other unnatural thing has
happened.

How do I remove the keyslip from a Yamaha U1 (1972)? I removed the four

screws underneath, but something is still holding it in the middle.

 

A fifth screw in the middle?  <g>
