I started boring my own hammers about 30 years ago when I got tired of suppliers who were "good enough" when they weren't. There's nothing hard about this. You just need a few tools and some knowledge to go with it. It's pretty basic stuff for someone with your skill set. It's not that hard, and when somebody makes a mistake, at least you'll know who it is!< Will and Nick - Thanks both of you for the help. Before I do anything, I'm going to take the time to go back through this entire thread to see what I've missed. As to your comment above about boring the hammers myself, Will, I know, I know. After 37 years of doing a lot of this stuff myself, I still get nervous when I try something new. This is on a list of things to try doing that I've been putting off for years. I need to quit making excuses and as you say "take the leap." I'm getting old enough that I'd better be giving some of these things a try. Again, thanks. I'll probably be asking for more advice as I get further into this. Chuck -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
