Oh, I forgot to mention that the instructions you gave below for interrogating my computer do not work as described. Clicking on view does not lead to an item on the menu labeled "Message Source", so I cannot duplicate what you want me to see. I've seen enough source material in the past to know what you are describing, however. You must have a different mail client than I do - mine is Microsoft office 2003 Outlook. Would have been great for you to have pulled up a screen shot and sent it to me for clarification though, (a dig at you which I could have indicated with a smiley face here rather than bit after bit of written description ad naseum. And I still think pictures, symbols and drawings and sound would all enhance the list experience. Even dense mathematical discourses are punctuated by formulae in the written paper. How could an architect communicate the magnificence of a building proposal with just a jillion words no picture? Describing a process or attempting to show a problem could be simplified so much with a picture - ending the repetitive requests for more information we see daily on this list. Bandwidth concerns? They're also more nearly decipherable in the text, and the message will happily come in around 10K shorter. Look at this in plain text mode and see how unreadable it is. Humor me for a minute and open one of your messages in your mail client. Go to View, and click Message Source. Now scroll down through what was actually sent until you get past the header to the message. Now scroll down through the message. It'll take a while. Now do the same for a 3-4K text message. You'll see a similar mess of header stuff, but when you get to the message, it's there, it's short, and it displays on screen like readable text. The thing is, I'd like to be able to read what you guys are saying. Thanks, Ron N
