Wim,
I think the dampp-chaser is appropriate. The humidistat is intelligent enough to work in concert with the heat from the player system.
Kindest Regards,
Garret

Garrett

This will be more of a temperature than a humidity problem. Does the humidistat work the same as a thermostat?

Wim

A client has a Yammy G2 with a discl. She not only lives 100 yards from the ocean, but the piano is 10 yards from a swimming pool, with only a sliding door to the lanai (patio), which is open most of the time. She has a dust cover over the strings, but I wonder if she should also get a dampchaser under the piano and an undercover, not just to keep the soundboard stable, but to keep the moisture out of the electronic components of the discl, speakers, power unit, etc?. Or would the damp chaser AND the power unit be too much heat?

If that is recommended, who has those, specifically for grands with player systems?
