Thanks for all your hard work in doing this, Chuck. I really enjoyed and appreciated your photographic essay of the upright rebuild. Type in Schaff Piano and hit search the web. Schaff Piano Home Page will come up. Hit that and you'll be on the site. You'll need your customer number and password to log onto the store. Chuck >Chuck - They should have plenty of time to process all the emails and the passwords since they won't be getting any orders in over the weekend! :-) Rob McCall Murrieta, CA< Hi again, everyone. I notice that the new Home Page is off-line right now. The old website is all that comes up. I know that Rob Johnson is still in the process of finishing up things, so it may be on-line and off-line from time to time as he finishes up things. My part in all this is the Procedure and Tool Handbook that is available on the landing page. I've finished 18 articles so far, and currently have plans (and photos) for 61 more. Only the original 12 that I had ready for Grand Rapids are listed at the time being, but hopefully that will be updated soon. The articles are set up for free download as PDF files, and more will be coming on-line as I put finish up additional topics. It will be a work in progress for quite a long time in the future (God willing), in that even the simple articles take hour upon hour to put together. Now that I'm thinking in terms of doing this Handbook, I'll be shooting pictures of a lot of procedures that we do that I've never bothered to photograph, so hopefully at some point this is a fairly comprehensive handbook. I know this is some that will be useful to the beginning technician. It would certainly have been something I would have made use of when I was starting out in the 70's. When I'm working on a particular procedure, I might be asking for input as to alternative ways to doing things, so that I can include a variety of approaches in my write ups. I have my particular way of doing things (as does everyone) but I will try to explain other people's methods as well. Anyway, check it out when the new Home Page is back on line. It's been fun actually getting to see it up and running. Have a great rest of the weekend. Chuck -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
