Duaine, This is not new, and is not at all difficult to do. The SPAMmers simply send junk e-mails with the return address field containing someone else's e-mail address. These can be harvested from any open source, including the Pianotech e-mail list. It doesn't matter what email service one uses, it can happen with any of them. Because I have one address that is public at Kawai, available on the web site, I find that the address is often used to send spam out. It doesn't come from me, it just looks like it does. For that reason I avoid posting my regular addresses on web pages. That is the fastest way to both gain spam in the inbox, and get spam sent using your e-mail address. I change that address regularly, and I never send out any message saying they came from that address, or it would be blocked by the anti-spam filters. My wife uses att.net, and she has had this happen before as well after her email address was posted on a web page. It got her address listed on a lot of spam blockers, so we changed it. I have received many emails this past month where by the hacker is using YOUR email addresses to send SPAM emails. Most of the emails have been hacked to send emails for ETD drugs (Viagra, etc) I would STRONGLY advice you to use another email service (not yahoo.com) and change your email address.
