Is this somewhat like the sticker on Aeolian-American pianos, "Built in
America by American Craftsman"?

Subject: [pianotech] Seasoned Wood

Greetings,

I already deleted the emails on the topic, but I remember someone mentioning
recently that the rumor of Yamaha seasoning their wood for specific markets
was false. Today, while I was tuning a 2007 Yamaha C2 at one of the nearby
High Schools, I cam across this sticker on the plate and thought I'd post it
here. It appears that they DO season their wood for specific markets.

In case my poor photography skills make it difficult to read, it says, "This
piano is for sale in the North American market only. The factory has
seasoned all wood materials exclusively for this market"

Regards,

Rob McCall
