Duaine-
I would use the wooden caster cups with felt bottoms.
Just don't roll the piano on the hardwood floors and you should be fine.
Best regards,
-Lou

Subject: [pianotech] Piano weight and hardwood floors

I need an opinion from someone who is well versed in piano weight and
  hardwood floors.

I have an antique player piano and recently installed hardwood floors
  (real, not manufactured or laminate).

Currently we have a piece of the hardwood flooring under the front and
  back casters on each side,

and need to know what I can put under the casters to NOT dent the floor.

  Thanks, Duaine
