[pianotech] tight glidebolts

Thanks Marcel,

That is what I was looking for.

I did use a tuning hammer but like I said the action bracket on this model
was in the way making it hard to set any tool on firmly. So they are tight and obstructed. I will try and get some photos.

Regards,
Jack Houweling

  Hi Jack,

I'm sure a drop or two of Protek wouldn't hurt and could help.

Now I'll bet he's wondering why he didn't think of that. Jack - if you don't want more helpful responses like Wim's, offered, as I would have, sans emoticons, you'll need to be more precise in you description, or include pictures. Tight is one thing. Obstruction is something else.

      Hi Jack,

      Is this a slotted bolt?

I had a problem with tight glide bolts on a Samick Grand. The action brackets were in the way making it difficult to turn

the tight glide bolts. I tried different wrenches but could not get a proper grip to turn the bolts.

What is the fix for this? Lubricate, retap?

        Regards,

        Jack Houweling
