Hey - I tuned that piano! It's at Sherman Clay in Seattle. People who have played it say it can be tricky because there is so little contrast between the naturals and sharps - they're yellow and orange. I have a picture on my website www.tacomapianotuner.com, on the Projects page.

You've probably seen the Dale Chahuly (spelling??) Steinway D in every color combined...basically based in Kermit the frog green?

When I was working for Sherman Clay they had Kimball designer pianos in different colors. I tuned for a lady that lived in Black Hawk outside the Bay Area and my driver commented that the blue house and car matched. When we were greeted at the door, later, my driver told me that she had on a blue dress, blue shoes to match. The walls were blue and, you guessed it, was a blue piano.
Got to love it.

So did Young Chang. We have Red, White and Blue in our window display. We sold a few red, but had the blue for about a year before it sold. I wanted to order another for the display, but we didn't know if we could sell another, so we changed out window display.

Back in the early '80's, Samick made colorful pianos. I worked for a Samick dealer back then, and they actually sold quite a few.

Not quite the whole spectrum, but a good enough selection.
