Al: I can¹t say that I disagree with anything you¹ve said in this last post, or that I could say it any better. Angry, too. But please don¹t take it out on me (I never practiced law--remember?). :) And...we are way off topic, and probably about to be chastised! :) Paul Milesi, RPT Washington, DC (202) 667-3136 E-mail: paul at pmpiano.com Website: http://www.pmpiano.com From: Al Guecia/AlliedPianoCraft <AlliedPianoCraft at hotmail.com> Reply-To: <pianotech at ptg.org> Date: Sun, 30 May 2010 08:53:54 -0400 To: <pianotech at ptg.org> Subject: Re: [pianotech] Tax Question maybe OT Why Paul? Because I'm angry! I'm angry that we "the middle class" are carrying the tax burden in this country. The not really poor have figured out how to get Government assistance. The lawyer of the "to big to fail" companies have figured if they move their money over seas they can bypass paying taxes. On top of that, they have also figured out how to get Government assistance. So who's left paying taxes to support this great County? .........WE ARE! If I let my conscience (integrity and ethics) be my guide I would have stopped paying my taxes many years ago. I pay my taxes because I've worked to hard for what I have and I don't want the Government taking it away from me. The middle class are the only people in this Country that have something to loose. So we protect it by "doing the right thing". I can't listen to my conscience because it keeps calling me an idiot!
