Richard When you say rebuilt, what was replaced, besides the strings and hammers? I would suggest you first try shaping and lacquering a few notes to see if that will bring up the sound. If that doesn't do it, then the problem is either the plate wasn't put back right when they replaced the pin block, or it needs a new soundboard.
