Hi Tom, Thanks for the other things to check. I did check damper timing with the pedal, and the pedal adjustment. damper won't lift when the key is depressed, but does fine with bass sustain is depressed. I'd be suprised if it wasn't a spoon, Damper spring tension seems good also.
