Before removing strings and filing (or sanding with emery cloth) the capo bar, take into consideration the condition of the hammers. Proper shape? Needled appropriately? Strings level? If sounds persist, then proceed to capo dressing, and bridge pin "tightening". Patrick Draine Ok. I debated doing that first, but hammer treatments might only mask the problems, correct?
