Thank you, Dale, for posting these items from the CyberTuner website. It is good to know that Dean does not advocate one pass pitch rasies as the end result. Perhaps Duaine will do some more reading, and learn how to propoerly use his program.

Class 3: Pitch Raising with Reyburn CyberTuner
hether you use a laptop or Pocket PC, using RCT's automated pitch raise
rogram, one quick pass (15 minutes) leaves most notes within a cent or two for
itch raises of 50 cents or more. RCT auto-measures each note and
uto-calculates its over pull using each note's optimal overpull percentage from
custom chart. New feature: you can now create, name, and save your own
ustomized overpull percentages charts.
16. With Reyburn CyberTuner could I tune my own piano?
Yes! You just need to learn how first, but learning tuning takes
erseverance. To learn to tune well takes A LONG TIME! Having a RCT doesn't make
ou a tuner, but RCT is an excellent teaching tool. If you want to learn more
bout piano tuning get in touch with your local chapter of the Piano Technicians
uild. http://www.ptg.org
>From the CyberTuner manual pp 86-87
fter the piano is at pitch, we strongly recommend you to create another tuning
ecord to use for your Fine Tuning pass. Why? Because a piano's inharmonicity is
ffected by tension of the string, so after a pitch raise, a string's partial
adder may have changed significantly. Furthermore, some thoughtful piano
engin-ears” suspect inharmonicity is affected by the stiffness of the
oundboard, which varies with downforce, which is affected by overall string
ension. So for maximum accuracy, we recommend you calculate a new tuning record
fter a pitch change of 10¢ or more. This effect has been noticed in climates
here a piano's pitch changes a lot between seasons.

Yes, that is why Dean has patents on some of the pieces of his
 software.

Pitch raising (and lowering) with RCT is extraordinarily accurate and fast.
Because it's software, RCT can be easily revised, allowing constant
nnovation. The latest version can be downloaded from the Internet.
RCT creates super-accurate tunings from low bass to high treble because six
otes are sampled (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and A6) at as many as four partials three
imes each for a total of 63 sampled partials. All partials are automatically
easured and recorded to a one-hundredth of a cent!
RCT creates aural-quality tunings because it directly matches sampled partials
exactly what aural tuners do every day.
Small (and all scale-challenged) pianos never sounded better! RCT
utomatically senses and compensates for short scaling in spinets, small grands,
tc. Note point 4
