Sorry, Ron, of my error in explanation.

I do remember when there was a time when some bridge pins
   were intentionally offset for what you say, but the chiseled area of
   the bridge also followed suit.

In this situation the chiseled area does not, and is clearly off.

The side bearing point of contact and the down bearing point
   of contact do not intersect together.
