Bottom board, kick panel, knee board, they all sort of blend together. LOL

A guy who glues up soundboard panels on a regular basis - does he have
dge glueing equipment?
Edge gluing - like this?

ith equipment - like this?

o make things - like these?

Sorry Wim. And here I thought me and my work might be famous! Fame can
e fleeting I suppose. Not to worry, I forget who is who and who does
hat sort of specialty all the time.
And like someone else said, bottom board, not knee board. I thought
hose terms were pretty universal and concrete - unlike amplify and
ransduce...... ;-)

If you have the maple, and the equipment to do edge glueing, I would
suggest that. You will, however, have to cover the finished panel
with veneer, the same wood as the rest of the piano.
