Terry,
Way back in the late 70s, the dealer that I was tuning for had the Kohler & Campbell pianos and a new spinet had a bass bridge that split out at the tenor break. K &C sent me a new bass bridge and I had to carefully remove the old one "clean" at the soundboard and glue the new on one - they paid the labor as well.
