That's what the text box on the ptg.org home page does... except it also
adds the search term <pipermail> to limit searches to the listservers.
If you're looking for something that was, e.g., on pianotech in 2009, you
can enter (in google window)
site:www.ptg.org/pipermail/pianotech.php/2009 pipermail <your search terms>
If you know it was in August of 2009 you can enter:
site:www.ptg.org/pipermail/pianotech.php/2009-August pipermail <your search
terms>
