[pianotech] Bass String Length Mismatch Tuning Trouble

I don't know who made the strings, but if I had to guess it was Mapes.  
The rebuilder also sells new famous NY-made pianos - and I think they  
have their bass strings made by Mapes. But I don't know any of that  
for sure.
