[pianotech] Miss Mousy been here

I don't know if this would work on mouse urine, but a couple years ago my dog tangled with a skunk and since it was late at night, the local pet store was closed. I went online, found a recipe for skunk odor removal. One quart of Hydrogen Peroxide, 1/2 cup baking soda and a few drops (maybe a teaspoon) of dish soap. It didn't work as well as the stuff the pet store sell, but it did help quite a bit.

It seemed like a pretty innocuous mixture.

I thought there was a recent email from one of the supply houses recently advertising a new product for odor elimination. I did a brief search but couldn't locate it. (did I just dream that?)

I am working on a German D action that sat unattended for a bit too long. It has a 15 year Old Renner action with nice parts and geometry other wise. The mice have trampled across the shanks and keys leaving a light smelly residue. Enough to make me gasp when ever I walk by the bench. Is there something innocuous that I can use to wipe down the dastardly deed. The noive uv em!
