The problem with the plug-unplug system is that the stage hands don't always tuck the cord up out of sight which leaves an unsightly cord for God and everybody to see during performance. I remember a few years ago attending a solo piano concert with the DC system cord hanging down from the piano and a person sitting next to me made mention how distracting is was during the concert. I might recommend this solution. Install a recessed male receptacle out of sight between the beams. This install also enables an easy connect/disconnect of the system using a conventional extension cord. The stage hands loved it and they were more apt to reinstall the power after the concert. Roger Gable P.S. A recessed male receptacle can be view in the Grainger catalogue. Part # 3D189 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
