[pianotech] Dales hitch pin clearance

 Sure,  do what one well known east coast manufacturer has done.  Hammer that sucker into the soundboard, and then knock it loose with a 
soundboard steel, or something else that will get to it.  No one is ever going to see that dent in the board, will they?
