Greetings,
 
 
         I've never been asked to show a business licence by a customer, 
however our municipality requires one. Each state and/or municipality has 
different requirements. Its government's way to keep track of your undertakings 
and tax you on the volume of business that you do, in addition of course to 
your regular income tax.
