[pianotech] Pianola player...plastic parts?

This sounds like one of the little Aeolian built players from the 70's (and 60's?)and it was pretty common for the plastic valves to leak.  The the only fix for a leaky valve I knew of was to replace it.  I'd test valve stack for leaks before offering to rebuild it.  Other than the tendency for the valves to leak, they were OK.
