I put a sign on my car with only my website on it, and I have not been told I've received one call from it, though half of my business is from the web site and half from word of mouth. It's a see through sign. In other words, I can see out, but you can't see in. As soon as the sign was on, I get calls. In less than 2 months the sign was paid for. I think the success of the sign is the simplicity. I see lots of advertising on cars, trucks, vans, etc., but most of them have so much information, that it's hard to read what the business is, much less get the phone number. So if any of you want to copy what I've done, just the information I have is all you need. Well, not only has the sign been great for business, my car has now almost reached iconic status. People recognize the car, and know who it is. At concerts, meetings of music people, church, even in shopping center, people ill say, "I saw you car driving down the highway".
