Joe I don't have a screw Gauge, but #15 sounds about right. But if you measure a #15, and the shank isn't 1/4" and the head is't 7/16" across, can you find one that does measure that? I already said oval, but it doesn't make much difference whether its steel or nickel. The pressure bars and screws are rusty and corroded, and because the rust and corrosion was caused by salt air, they can't be cleaned. So other than cleaning off the dust, the originals are going back on. A nice clean nickel plated screw would out of place. Have you got an old, nasty looking one? Thanks for taking care of the shipping. I owe you a beer in Seattle, (Actually Bellingham). I'll be more than happy to reimburse you for "shipping and andling"" Wim, nly IF, you drag out the Screw Gauge you got in Vegas and really MEASURE he screw! If I sent you a 2 1/2" Screw w/a 1/4" shank, that would probably e a #15 Screw. A bit large for a pressure bar situation, imo.<G> Also, ould you like a Flat Head Screw or an Oval Head Screw? Also, would you ike plain steel or Nickel Plated?<G> I think you get the dea....more/accurate information is needed.<G> As for the "shipping & andling", .....Nah, It'll be for ol' times sake.<G> est, oe Joe Garrett, R.P.T. aptain of the Tool Police quares R I -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
