Les

I wear contacts, and use reading glasses for close up, including action work. It is a little bit of a hassle, but I get by. With that in mind I wonder if you might ask for a separate set of glasses just for action work. Use your bifocals for reading the newspaper and every day use, but when you have to do action work, put on the special glasses just for that purpose.

Wim, me being 67, too.

Two questions.
If there are folks like me, facing trifocals inglasses, have any chosen to put the far range in the middle, and the mid-rangein the top? I’m having to get new glasses and I think they willrecommend trifocals- me being 67 and all.

Do any of you carry a “tuner”, whichwill play a wide variety of notes, which will not push the button while in atool case, thus running down the battery while it lies in the case? I left mytuning fork somewhere, and have found that A-440 in itself does not reallyindicate if a pitch raise is necessary. I’d like to have something witha slide switch instead of a push button.
Thanks for any ideas.
