I think over the years we have sometimes hurt the whole piano business (i.e. sales) by this heroic effort to restore the living-dead... but then I have a divergent view on lots of things." dp, What you say is true in my opinion. Most Piano Manufacturers, (deep in their hearts), do not want us to fix anything. They are there to SELL units, (no matter what that unit is). We, on the other hand are TECHNICIANS. Our job is to maintain the PIANO in good stead for our CLIENTS. Read The Code Of Ethics on the back of your membership card(s) people! Our first order is to always have the best interest of the Client in mind. We tend toget all uppity and snobby about "Grawnd Pianosssss" are BETTAH and y'all should have BETTAH! Well, people, in this economy, we need to stop that crap and do what is best for our clients...Then we need to help the dealers make a few bucks as well. That's my take on it, Joe Joe Garrett, R.P.T.
