Paul: This might be heresy on a piano list, but the last couple of tool cases I bought were from office supply stores like Staples or Office Max. They have a wider range of choices, and I can see them, feel them, lift them and have a better idea what will fit. I do buy lots of things on-line but there are some things where I want to see, feel, lift and check out before I buy. Generally the mass produced cases are somewhat less expensive than the "specialty" cases in the piano catalogs and I've found that they last as long as the others. dave ______________________ David M. I've decided to invest in a new tool case, and I've been looking at the ones in the Schaff catalog (pages 88-89). The "Ultimate Genck Case" looks great ($270), and the Cordura Nylon Case ($125) also looks like a good one. Can the Genck case really be $145 better? Any other brands to consider?
