[pianotech] Screens under counterbearing bars

Here's a photo of the screens.  I've generally found them under these types
of counterbearing bars, at least unless someone has restrung the piano
previously and removed them.

Me either, but then I have no idea what's out there that I haven't yet seen.
Most likely seems to me to be noise avoidance, though it seems an odd choice
of material. One thing for sure, like everything else Steinway ever did,
we'll never really know, and it'll still be a guess.
